Katie leads Business Development for Industry Diversification at Spartan Controls. In addition, Katie is the Executive Director of Young Women in Energy (YWE), an Alberta non-profit organization of more than 4,500 members that provides voice, presence, development, and leadership of women working in the energy industry. She is a founding board member of Axis Connects, a collaborative effort across women-focused organizations and initiatives in Calgary; and is a Cabinet Member for OWN.CANCER, helping to raise $250M for the new Calgary Cancer Centre. She is currently pursuing her MBA, Executive Management at Royal Roads University.
